Parking Instructions

Your SOS parking pass is approved for use in the West Lot 2 (near the AU Marching Band Practice Field). There will be a dedicated shuttle to take you to the Student Center for SOS in the morning from West Lot 2. Please follow specific instructions located in your pre-session email that you will receive approximately one week prior to your SOS Session. If you park illegally on campus or in the city you are subject to ticketing and towing policies. Please be sure to display your SOS parking pass.

Driving Instructions

From I-85:

From I-85 (north or south) take Exit 51 into Auburn and go approximately five miles. As you arrive on campus, pass through stop lights at Samford Avenue, Roosevelt/Miller, and Thach Avenue. At Toomer’s Corner (intersection of College and Magnolia Avenue in downtown Auburn), turn left onto Magnolia Avenue. Go approximately a mile, crossing over Donahue Drive at a stop light. At the next light (1/4 mile), bear left to merge onto Wire Road. At the next light (1/8 mile) turn right onto Thach Avenue. The parking lot will be ahead on your left. Turn left on Beech St into the parking lot and SOS staff will be past the stop sign.

From US Hwy 280:

Traveling east on US 280, turn right on Alabama Highway 147 (College Street). Travel approximately five miles into Auburn. At Toomer’s Corner (intersection of College and Magnolia Avenue in downtown Auburn), turn right onto Magnolia Avenue. Go approximately a mile, crossing over Donahue Drive at a stop light. At the next light (1/4 mile), bear left to merge onto Wire Road. At the next light (1/8 mile) turn right onto Thach Avenue. The parking lot will be ahead on your left. Turn left on Beech St into the parking lot and SOS staff will be past the stop sign.

 

There are some construction projects currently happening around campus. The directions provided on your parking pass and here should not be impacted by the construction; however you may experience increased traffic in and around campus.
