Students are assigned at random to groups of 12-15 students. There will be some free time during the program when you can spend time with people from other groups and meet up with your hometown friends if you choose.

Questions About Academics
If you plan to take summer classes at Auburn, you will need to contact your advisor in your college or school to register for summer classes. That communication should occur in April or May. If you are attending one of Auburn’s two summer mini-semesters, make plans to attend a Camp War Eagle session that falls outside of the mini-semester in which you are taking classes.
If you are attending the full summer or both mini-terms, you will be required to complete a First Year Seminar course during fall semester. If you are part of a Learning Community (LC), the course associated with that LC will qualify. If you are not in an LC, then UNIV 1050 should be taken as a standalone course.
Additionally, if you are attending the full summer or both mini-terms, please note that in the “Special Circumstances” section when registering for CWE. Before your CWE session, a CWE staff member will contact you through your Auburn email address to discuss your summer class schedule and the CWE schedule.
On the morning of Day 2 of Camp War Eagle, students will meet with academic advisors from their college/school to learn what classes they should register for. Parents will also attend at least a portion of this meeting. After this meeting, Camp Counselors will walk students through the scheduling process and develop a mock schedule as practice. Parents will have separate programs to attend during this time. During lunch, students and parents can rejoin and discuss the student’s class options. After lunch, students will meet again with the advisor for final questions and fall semester registration while parents return to their programmed events.
No. Attending an earlier session of Camp War Eagle WILL NOT give a student an advantage in registering for classes. There are a select number of classes withheld for each session of Camp War Eagle so all first year students have an equal chance of selecting necessary and desired courses.
Whether you choose session 1 or 10, you will have the same opportunity for classes.
The Auburn University Medical Clinic requires all students to turn in a Medical Information Form prior to attending Auburn. The medical form should be submitted electronically via Med+Proctor on the AU Medical Clinic website. Click here to be directed to the form. If the student does not have the form completed by the time they attend Camp War Eagle, they will submit an electronic Letter of Understanding which states that the form will be submitted within 30 days or their schedule may be dropped.
Questions for Families & Guests

Parents and guests who were not included in their student’s original registration may sign up by calling our office or registering in person at check-in on the day of your session. Payment for the cost of the parent or guests attendance will not be needed at the time of late registration, but will later be charged to the student’s eBill account.
